The Kansas City Missouri Homesteading Authority
(KCMHA) strives to turn blighted properties into
neighborhood assets by obtaining the properties and
selling them at discounted prices to homeowners and
investors who are committed to improving the
community.
Our "First Place" loan program gives first-time
homebuyers* the edge they need to purchase a home,
with cash assistance available. Our MCC program
provides income eligible first-time homebuyers* with an
opportunity to reduce the amount of federal income tax
owed each year they own and live in their homes.
KCCG is a non-profit membership organization that helps
people grow vegetables and fruit from garden plots and
orchards located in backyards, schoolyards, vacant lots
and community sites.
